Hi there! I'm Gina. I'm an MD/PhD student living in Dallas, TX with my boyfriend, Michael, and our two dogs, Boomie and Momo.I was inspired to start this when I was shopping for portraits of my own dogs, but couldn't find anything that fit what I was looking for. So, I decided to make my own!I strive to create detailed, realistic pieces that capture the uniqueness of your pet, while still maintaining a simple and modern aesthetic. Each of these portraits are drawn by me 100% by hand - from sketching to adding the final details. No filters or effects used!I would love to create a customized piece for you. PRICING
$75 for 11x14 print + digital file
$65 for 8x10 print + digital file
$50 for digital file onlyadditional print sizing options available upon requestto give some context to how prices are set: the portraits are drawn 100% by hand on a digital medium (i use my apple pencil and the procreate app). this is a time-consuming process; i typically spend 4+ hours on each portrait to ensure that it will perfectly capture your pet's unique image! for the physical prints, the price also includes costs associated with producing and shipping the print.
ORDERING
to get an order started, all i need from you is a reference photo (or multiple!)if you have a single photo that you feel perfectly captures pet, awesome! i’m happy to just recreate that image.otherwise, i can definitely work off a few different photos. in that case, it is helpful if you can specify what you like from each photo, so i can make sure the end result is accurate to what you want. if there are specific details (coloring, unique markings, etc.) that you'd like to see represented in the portrait, please make sure to note this as well!please email all photos and any additional information to:

how much does it cost ?

what will i receive?
for digital file only: you will receive a high-quality .jpg file, which you can then have for your personal use (order prints, download to your phone/computer/tablet to use as a background, etc.) if posted online, please credit my instagram page @ginapark.artfor physical print: the print is made using a giclée printing process, which allows for a wider range of colors & smoother gradations than the traditional CMYK process. the print will be on fine art paper (200 gsm) and will have a matte finish. it will be shipped in a large cardboard envelope with a plastic sleeve & cardboard backing for maximal protection. the standard size is 8x10 but i can do larger sizes on request. you will also receive the digital file in addition to the physical copy.
can you do {insert animal} ?
yes! all types of pets are welcome :)
what makes a good reference photo?
i don't need anything super fancy - usually, smartphone camera quality works great! the more important thing is that the photo is clear, taken in a well-lit area, and not overly filtered. this allows me to accurately capture your pet's coloring.please note, I will generally remove collars and other accessories from the portrait. If you would like to keep an accessory in the final portrait, please let me know.
how long does it take ?
for digital file only: turnaround time is usually ~ 2 weeks, although it may take longer depending on how many images i have in the queue. if you need the work completed by a certain date, please let me know and i will do my best to work within your timeframe.for physical print: once the drawing is completed, it can take up to 3 days for production and 7-10 days for standard shipping. expedited shipping is available at an extra cost.
can i see a preview of the work?
yes, of course! i will always email you a proof once the initial drawing is completed. i’m happy to make any revisions if there’s anything that isn’t 100% perfect. i do not require payment until the work is completed to your satisfaction.
